San Antonio is welcoming a new era of professional basketball as the San Antonio Soldiers officially join the National Basketball League-United States (NBL-US) for the 2024-2025 season. The team is set to make waves in the NBL-US, bringing together top-tier talent and a passion for community engagement. The Soldiers will be led by General Manager and Head Coach Charlie Harper III, a well-respected figure in San Antonio basketball circles known for his strategic mind and leadership.
The first player to join the Soldiers roster is local basketball standout Keith King, who hails from San Antonio and is expected to make an immediate impact on the court. King’s signing marks the beginning of a promising future for the Soldiers as they prepare for their inaugural season.
Charlie Harper III shared his excitement about leading the San Antonio Soldiers into their first NBL-US campaign, saying:
