The NBL-United States (NBL-US) is proud to announce Corey Alpough Jr. as the Vice President of the newly established NBL-US Players Union. Corey Alpough Jr. played his high school basketball at Channelview High School in Channelview, Texas, and continued his playing career at Central Oklahoma University. After completing his collegiate career, Alpough returned home to play for East Houston United, where he immediately made history as the first player selected in the inaugural NBL-US draft in 2020. That same year, Alpough won the NBL-US MVP award and led United to its first championship. Over the next three seasons, Alpough became the leading scorer in NBL-US history, winning a second MVP award in 2023 and guiding East Houston United to four consecutive undefeated championship seasons from 2020-2023.

In 2024, Alpough joined the Eastside Netz and led them to the semifinals, demonstrating his elite skill and leadership. He will conclude his NBL-US career in 2025 as a member of the expansion Gueydan Flying Ducks, marking the end of a storied legacy in the league. Beyond his playing career, Alpough is also an elite skills trainer, having earned his gold license from USA Basketball for youth coaching.
