National Basketball League-United States

22-year old guard  (188-G-2003) had an amazing evening in the last round for top-ranked HBCU Movement and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 1.
He had a double-double of 46 points and 16 rebounds, while his team outclassed Cypress V. (#3, 1-1) with 50-point margin 147-97. The game was between two of the league’s top four teams. Movement maintains the top position in NBL-US league. But it’s just the very beginning of the season and HBCU Movement won both games without losing any. It’s too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team’s last game Walker had a remarkable 72.2% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He just recently signed at Movement and just after two games he already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team. Tougaloo College athlete has very impressive stats this year. Walker is league’s best scorer averaging so far 35.5ppg. Walker is in league’s top in rebounds (5th best: 10.5rpg), assists (3rd best: 5.0apg) and averages solid 2.5spg,75.0% FGP and 50.0% from behind 3-point line.

Dennis Jones Second best performed player last round was  (188-G-1998). He is a guard in his first season at HBCU Movement. In the last game Jones recorded an impressive 35 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Of course together with Walker he helped HBCU Movement with another comfortable win outscoring Cypress V. (1-1) 147-97. His team has extremely good start of the season. They won both games so far. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Jones is one of the most experienced players at Movement and similarly like Zaire Walker has a reputation of one of team’s most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 24.0ppg (#5). His other stats are also decent: 7.0rpg and 5.5apg.

Third place about best performers goes to forward  (197-PF-2006) of Cypress Venom (#3). Purcell scored 22 points and grabbed 13 rebounds (!!!). Despite Purcell’s great performance the Venom lost 97-147 to #2 ranked HBCU Movement. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Cypress V. needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 1 victory and 1 lost game. Purcell has a great season in NBL-. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league’s leaders in rebounds with 12.0rpg (3rd best).

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it’s accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) – 2*BSAG – 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM – 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) – 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) – (FTA-FTM)
